Physical requirements:

A balloon ride is suitable for almost everyone. For safety reasons, children must be at least 130 cm tall or at least 12 years old. For underage passengers, we require the consent of a parent or guardian.

In case of heart, circulatory or lung diseases, hip or knee problems as well as in case of pregnancy, we ask you to consult your doctor on your own responsibility.

Important informations:

Since we go with the wind, we can't say in advance exactly which direction we are going and where the landing site will be. Your pilot will choose a suitable landing spot depending on the conditions and the wind. The support team will arrive during or shortly after the landing.

Weather:

Safety first - our experienced pilots carefully check the weather conditions and forecasts before every take-off. Reasons for exclusion from a take-off are, for example, too strong ground wind, low clouds and poor visibility. Of course, we check the weather in advance so that unnecessary journeys can be avoided as far as possible. Nevertheless, it may happen that the launch has to be cancelled at short notice for safety reasons. In this case, we ask for your understanding and will be happy to arrange a new date with you.

Duration:

With us you will experience the balloon ride in all its facets - from preparing the balloon together to packing the balloon after landing. Afterwards, the traditional baptism of the balloonists takes place at the balloon garage. Plan 3 to 4 hours for your "ballooning experience", of which you will spend approx. 1 hour in the air.

Location:

The meeting point is at our balloon garage in Groß-Siegharts. The actual balloon launch is always on the balloon field, directly opposite the balloon garage.

Group size:

The balloon experience can be booked individually or in a group of up to 20 people.

Spectators/accompanying persons:

Can I invite spectators? Yes, your family or friends are welcome to watch the take-off and/or landing. For safety reasons, all spectators must follow the instructions of our team.

Equipment / Clothing:

Seasonally appropriate. It is best to dress as you would for a walk outdoors. As the balloon travels with the wind, there is no draught in the air - the temperature is therefore usually even perceived as milder than on the ground. In any case, sturdy shoes are important, as take-off and landing take place on fields, which can also be damp, depending on the weather. You are also welcome to bring sturdy gloves, long trousers and a top so that you can help with the balloon rigging.

Flexibility:

You gift the greatest possible flexibility with a voucher: The voucher is valid for 3 years (from the date of independent activation).

Morning and evening possible

Morning or evening flight, both have their own special charm. For the morning flight, the actual balloon launch is shortly after sunrise. On the evening flight, the balloon takes off approx. 2 hours before sunset. The meeting point is always 1 hour before the launch time, as a short briefing takes place beforehand and the balloon is made ready for take-off together.
