Alpine balloon ride in winter from Gosau

Services and benefits:

- Alpine balloon flight with take-off in Gosau
- Duration from take-off to landing approx. 2 hours, but flights of 3 hours are also possible depending on the thermals

Physical requirements:

In principle, a balloon ride is not strenuous.
However, please inform us if you have any concerns regarding physical complaints or if you are pregnant.

Important informations:

Dates are available from the beginning of December to the end of February

Weather:

You will receive confirmation of the agreed date approximately half a day before your planned balloon flight. The final decision about the launch will then be made on the basis of the current flight weather information.

If the weather does not permit a launch, an alternative date will be arranged immediately with our balloonists. The time of the alternative date depends on the existing booking situation and the flexibility of the participants.

Duration:

Setting up the balloon and the briefing take about half an hour. The duration of the balloon flight depends on the thermals and takes about 2 hours. You should allow about 6 hours for the whole experience.

After landing, the balloon is stowed away together. A christening with sparkling wine and the presentation of a commemorative certificate, in keeping with an old tradition, are included, as is the return transportation to the starting point.
