This balloon ride takes you over the districts of Rottal-Inn or Passau Land, guided by the wind. Observe the Rott, Inn and Danube from a stunning perspective and watch them get smaller as the balloon rises into the sky. If the wind is favourable, it will carry the balloon from south-eastern Bavaria over the border into the Austrian Innviertel or the Bavarian Forest. You can even catch glimpses of the Alps. The important thing is that a real balloonist knows that you don't fly in a balloon, you ride it! A minimum group size of 5 people is required for the balloon ride to take place.
Services and benefits:
We will pick you up at the meeting point on an agreed date. Then we will drive together to the launch site. After briefing the passengers, we set up the balloon together.
After the "setup of the balloon" - as the balloon crew calls it - we take off. And land after about 1.5 hours, depending on the weather and the landscape.
After landing and dismantling the balloon, the passengers are raised to the status of nobility during the traditional baptism of the balloonists with fire and noble baptismal water and receive a baptismal certificate.
Physical requirements:
Anyone can join, there is no upper age limit. However, you should be in good health.
Ballooning can sometimes be compared to a sporting activity.
Children should be at least 12 years old or at least 1.30 m tall because of the height of the basket.
Important informations:
The meeting point is arranged shortly before the balloon ride.
Only the wind knows the exact landing place, a car with trailer follows us on the ground and brings the equipment and balloonist back.
Weather:
Balloon rides are only possible in stable weather - no precipitation and little wind. Contact must still be made with the pilot the day before.
Duration:
The setup of the balloon and the briefing takes about half an hour. The balloon ride varies depending on the thermals and lasts about 90 minutes. After landing, the balloon is stowed together and afterwards a baptism with champagne and a commemorative certificate according to old tradition is just as much a part of it as the transport back to the starting point. You should calculate a total of 3-4 hours.

The price includes passenger insurance as required by law for aviation.
Group size:
It can only be carried out with a minimum of 5 people. Individuals can participate in principle, but must bring flexibility and time for collective appointments.
Spectators/accompanying persons:
Spectators are welcome to watch the setup of the balloon and the launch.
Equipment / Clothing:
Dress sportily and according to the season. Sturdy, ankle-covering shoes (hiking shoes or trainers) are particularly important.
Just dress as if you were going hiking, it is hardly noticeably colder in the air than on the ground. Long legwear is recommended.
Also, bring your camera, there are great subjects to capture during the balloon ride.

Simply send us a request for your desired date for the balloon ride. We will then take care of fixing your adventure as quickly as possible.
However, you can give the greatest flexibility with a voucher. It is valid for 3 years after purchase and can even be redeemed for another adventure if you wish.

The exact meeting point for the start of the balloon ride will be arranged about half a day before the actual date.
If the agreed launch date is not possible due to the weather, an alternative date for the balloon ride will be arranged.
It depends on the booking situation and the flexibility of the participants how soon this date will take place.
